After working for a few years in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dimple Mittle and Vijay Narnapatti aspired to come back to India and “get our hands dirty” in the material and craft-rich environment of the country. Bengaluru, with its cosmopolitan character and proffessional design environment, seemed like an ideal place for their craft-based practice and, thus, mayaPRAXIS was founded in 2001. “We wished to bring our modern, critical thinking to the vernacular and traditional spirit of the architecture in India,” explain the architects who have a masters in History and Theory of Architecture from the University of Cincinnati.

Divergent & Entangled is an Exhibition hosted to present the wonderful work produced by the students of Sem II, School of Architecture Christ University. The program will was held at 9:30AM on 16th April, 2019 at IGNCA [Indira National Center for the Arts] Regional Centre, Bangalore. The exhibition will be displayed at the IGNCA for sometime. Pofessor Vijay Narnapatti along with co-faculty at the SOAC worked with Ar. Aishwarya and her team to make this workshop and exhibition effective in the learning and representation of ‘Sacred Spaces’.
