The proposed earth block architecture was replaced by exposed brick tile finish on client request. The disciplined academic focus of the school needed a focus on classroom learning. The design balances transparency and opacity, solid and open, brick and white

A central courtyard and brick-clad architecture create a gentle, light-filled sanctuary for focused learning.
This addition is designed as a dedicated learning block for primary school students. The layout centers on a bright, intimate courtyard. This central space simplifies wayfinding while maximizing natural light and ventilation.
Although originally envisioned in earth blocks, the architecture evolved into a disciplined exposed brick tile finish. The final design strikes a precise balance between transparency and opacity. By contrasting solid brick with white voids, the structure reflects a commitment to a focused academic environment. The result is a space that feels both gentle and structured.
